Fun facts and experience from project
Originally, I wanted the lamp to have a black light or starry night effect, but with RGB LEDs, not possible yet.
Discovered that there are many types of opal plexiglass, each blurring light differently—it even depends on how close the LEDs are to the glass.
Learned the hard way that the basic €40 LED strip adhesive doesn’t last—after a few months, it just falls off.
Didn’t plan the wiring well, and the LEDs wouldn’t work with my personal powerbanks.
Synchronizing the colors was way more challenging than I expected, especially keeping it aligned with the day’s natural light.
Next time, I’ll collaborate with weather apps to make the lamp even more dynamic and interactive.
